Our Fulfilment Process

From Delivery to Returns, Let Us Handle Every Step

You didn’t go into business to become an expert in logistics and warehousing—your dream is something else. Our passion is warehousing and logistics, and that’s why we exist. Because we love what we do, we do it exceptionally well, ensuring both you and your customers are delighted. And you can breathe easy—we’re always contactable and on hand.

01. Goods Receiving and Warehousing Services

We operate from two warehouse sites in Newark, in the Midlands. These locations are well connected by all major transport links, making them ideally positioned to receive goods from around the world. Once the onboarding process is complete, the next step is to get your goods into our warehouses and safely stored.

Our Goods Inbound Process:

  • Unload goods from the lorry into our inbound area.
  • Check that all goods are present and correct.
  • Break down palletised goods and place them in designated picking locations.
  • Book all goods into the warehouse management system to ensure they are located and quantified.
  • Report any anomalies, damage, or discrepancies from the shipping manifest.

Getting this first step right sets us up for success in the rest of the process. The key to a smooth inbound operation is organisation and communication. By planning in advance for large container arrivals, we can have our team ready to process them efficiently. Unscheduled arrivals can cause unnecessary delays, which is why clear communication with your account manager is essential.

02. Integration and Onboarding

The onboarding and integration process is straightforward for most customers.

Our Onboarding Process:

We will:

  • Assess the quantities of stock you will store with us and allocate the necessary space.
  • Assign you an account manager—one of the team members who will be directly involved in picking and packing your orders.
  • Determine which stock needs to be in picking areas and which will remain on pallets.
  • Set up integrations with your order management system(s)—we can integrate with almost any platform.
  • Establish alternative ways to place orders, such as via email or manually through our portal.
  • Define any special packing requirements.
  • Identify any kitting or other value-added services you may require.

By taking the time to set everything up correctly from the start, we ensure a smooth, efficient fulfilment process tailored to your business needs.

03. Order Handling From Any Source to Our System

As part of the onboarding process, we will have established how your orders will reach us. Most customers operate across multiple sales channels, so it’s essential to stay organised. Fortunately, much of this can be automated through system integrations.

Our warehouse management system (WMS) can integrate with almost any platform via open API. You will also have direct access to the system, allowing you to:

  • Check order status in real time.
  • Place orders manually.
  • Amend existing orders as needed.

We believe that direct contact with the team handling your account is essential for smooth order management. While most orders will flow seamlessly through integrations, there will be times when human intervention is required. When that happens, you’ll have direct access to the person who can make the necessary changes—no middlemen, no service desks, just straightforward support from the person doing the job.

04. Pick and Pack Services Tailored to Your Needs

We pick and pack your goods according to your pre-agreed specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Charges are based on the time required to complete this process.

05. Flexible Shipping Solutions for Cost-Effective Deliveries

We schedule regular collections with a range of couriers to ensure your packages are delivered efficiently. The chosen courier will depend on what works best for your business, and we will agree on this upfront. While we make a margin on delivery, our bulk purchasing power means you will generally pay less than if you arranged shipping independently.

06. Efficient Returns Management and Restocking Services

We handle returns and restocking efficiently, ensuring your inventory is updated accurately. This service is charged based on the time required.

Grow as You Go

Flexible Pricing for Predictable Profits

Our process is fully scalable—your costs increase as your usage grows, but so do your shipments and, ultimately, your profits.

We establish a fixed cost per average order, allowing you to factor this into your margin calculations to ensure every deal remains profitable. There are no hidden fees or unexpected costs.
